The Program is to Blame
We live in a system of supply and demand
And yet it’s the man at the helm whom you blame
Less land and less water with accompanying heat
Has killed our prosperity and abundance my dear
Prices rise and the dollar falls in this dishonest game
And yet it’s the game you willingly play
To devalue the dollar is the real theft in this shame
And yet again you blame the man at the helm
Pumping more oil does not drop the cost
As the oil is sold to others before us
One of these days the public will demand
Those responsible shall pay for their shame

In a World of Rising Prices and Polluted Promises, Lies Are Our Greatest Threat
Amidst the whirlwind of rising prices, oil pollution, and the looming specter of global warming, we find ourselves in hot water once again. How did we get here? The answer is very simple, liars.
As someone who values honesty, honor, and integrity, nothing irks me more than deceit. Over the years, my tolerance for liars has dwindled, and rightfully so. It’s baffling and disturbing to see how children, taught by their mothers not to lie, steal, or cheat, grow up to embrace these very vices. Should we blame bad parenting, parenting by bad example, probably but I would point at the 800 pound gorilla in the room, our devious and dishonest society, driven by the relentless need for survival for most, the pursuit of grand wealth by the greedy and supremacy minded. The hording of vast amount of resources tied up in wealth that could feed 100 million people all locked up in one individual is a system alright, a corrupt system that takes from the many to give to the few. How does this serve society?
The truth seems clear to me, though it may be hard for others to accept. We need to clean up the airwaves of disinformation and lies. The notion that lying is only a crime in court is absurd. Where are our rights to challenge liars without incurring enormous costs? The system appears rigged for liars, enriching the corrupt while draining the honest. Any policy that allows fraudsters to thrive at our expense is theft, pure and simple.
Consider this: why can’t we, as a society, have the ability to legally challenge and swiftly debunk falsehoods? Imagine a fast-track court system that verifies the truth and allows us to sue those spreading lies as defamation does. This would empower us to achieve accountability and transparency from our media and individuals alike.
Our system only functions when people of honor are holding the reins. Dishonesty and misinformation, rampant among our legislators and judiciary, are tearing society apart. The economic burden keeps increasing. My father’s generation thrived on a single income. My wife and I needed two. Now, it seems our children will require three incomes to achieve the same standard of living. Is this progress?
Corrupt capitalism is the culprit. The system, driven by greed and deceit, exploits us all. Supply shortages are intentionally engineered to burden us, incrementally turning us into economic slaves. One income, two incomes, three—each step drawing us deeper into an economic prison.
We were fine until liars and the corrupt hijacked capitalism. If we eradicated dishonesty and waste, the economy might shrink by 30%, revealing the true incentive for maintaining the status quo. Politicians thrive on the illusion of economic growth, always at our expense.
It’s time we speak up for the truth. Rewarding liars is not in my vocabulary, and I hope it’s not in yours. Our system only works when those in power are honest and honorable. If we don’t demand honesty and integrity, we will continue to shrink and lose everything. Even the rich would lose everything if the dollar and stock market crashes. Bank bailouts, stimulus it doesn’t matter what deceitful way they phrase it it’s all wealth transfer from the people to the elite.
Speak up, challenge deceit, and let’s reclaim our right to the truth and an honest society.
